Job description

This role requires you to travel to varied locations in the Medway Town, visiting service users & assisting with tasks that they may struggle with without assistance.

The types of support provided varies:

Assisting to wash, shower, bathe

Assisting to apply creams & lotions

Assisting to dress/undress

Assisting with oral care

Assisting with the use of continence aids

Assisting with toilet requirements

Administering medication which includes, collection of prescriptions, recording medication taken, raising concerns.

Assitance in the preperation & cooking of meals & a required recording nutrition intake

Assistance to eat

Providing fluids & where required recording fluid intake

Supporting to appointments & places of interest

Ensuring safety & well-being

Respite services which means that the main carer is able to have a break

Supporting to gain access to the community

Supporting to learn life skills

Companionship

You will be required to drive & hold a full driving licence with access to vehicle. 

This must have an up to date MOT certificate & appropriate insurance. 

Driving licence checks are carried out 

You will also require an Enhanced DBS
